The Itch! Bitch

A belated happy new year to you all. had we not out done ourselves quite so spectacularly this new year you may have found the blog posts begin a little sooner into 2011. though as we’ve been carefully piecing our lives back together over the last 2 weeks we’ve also been stocking up on great new tunes for you lovelies.

First up comes courtesy of a generous christmas present from Skream himself, a free 13 track album made up of unreleased, old and new material. The stand out track for me is definitely Skream’s remix of P Money’s track Left The Room, originally produced by Sukh Knight. A massive dubstep-meets-grime dancefloor destroyer. Highly recommended.

Next up is a dark and sultry house remix by teenage wonderboy Nicolas Jaar. I seem to be the last person to discover this child prodigy, though i’m really glad I did. Telling you where and when to catch this house music maestro in Glasgow this month will likely end badly for me so i’m going to have to let you work that out for yourself.

No Regular Play – Owe Me (Nicolas Jaar Remix)

Next up New Yorker Kotchy puts his own spin on a slightly older Starkey track OK Luv, featuring vocals from Badness. Big Bass with some great synth work!

Here’s a stunning remix of Cassie’s chilled out RnB track Must Be Love featuring P Diddy courtesy of Montreal’s Jacques Greene. It’s kept the really chilled out vibe of the original track and interpreted it into something a little more dancefloor oriented.

Last up is a beautiful track by Robag Wruhme, aka Gabor Schablitzki. It’s a really chilled out house track with some very clever vocal samples. Sunday afternoon dance music if you will.

Robag Wruhme – Der Bierholer

Enjoy
